CHONG KUN DANG launches The herbal laxative “Saeng-U”
The double effects of rhubarb and licorice are excellent for constipation
Excellent reduction of side effects such as abdominal pain and diarrhea compared to existing laxatives
CHONG KUN DANG has recently released an herbal ingredient laxative. Saeng-U is mainly composed of rhubarb and licorice, which has a twofold beneficial effect. Rhubarb stimulates the peristalsis of the intestines and helps the bowel movements. Licorice alleviates diarrhea and demonstrates excellent results without side effects for constipation.
The combination of rhubarb and licoriceCHONG KUN DANGis an herbal medicine prescription that has been proven to be effective for a long time -it was listed in the "Jin Gui Yao Lue," written by Zhang Zhongjing (A.D. 150-219) at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty of China.
CHONG KUN DANG named it "Saeng- U," which means herbal medicine that helps soft bowel movements. The name combines the Chinese characters "saeng( )" meaning "herbal medicine ingredient" and "U( )" meaning "soft." It also sounds like the English expression "Thank You."
This product is characterized by the smoothness of the topping when used in elliptical tablets and the simplicity of only taking one tablet a day.
There are 350,000 domestic female constipation patients as of 2015, 1.4 times the amount of male patients.
CHONG KUN DANG plans to actively market new products to female patients. "Many patients are avoiding taking laxatives because of the side effects, such as abdominal pain and diarrhea," said a CHONG KUN DANG official. "We hope that the improved side effects will ease the anxieties and inconveniences of patients."
